Inclement Weather
If schools are closed due to weather, this page gives details and links to the tasks for 3rd and 4th grade. Kids can choose from up to three tasks per subject area; if there are multiple inclement weather days within a month, they should choose different tasks.

Plan for the typical school day
- Fastest route to the schools according to Google is to take 100, takes 15 minutes. Going by 103 takes about 20 minutes. Using 20 minutes for the calculation below, with a safety margin.
- Wake up at 6:30, have breakfast and get ready for school.
- Leave home at 7:40, to be at the Thomas Viaduct school at 8:00. Note: see how this works out and whether this can actually be later.
- Drop of one kid, get in line for the Hanover Hills.
- Drop the other two kids off at 8:50, back home by 9:30.
- Leave home at 14:30 to pick up kid at Thomas Viaduct at 14:55.
- Get in line at Hannover Hills and pick up kids at 15:20.
- Get home at about 15:50.
- Kids can choose to either play their phones while waiting in the car, or do ½ hour of schoolwork / homework.
- Monday and Thursday, go to the playground (weather permitting).
- After dinner, 1 hour of schoolwork / homework (or ½ hour for those who have shown to do ½ hour in the car).
